View this post on Instagram Quick look around in the rain at the former Great Northern Railway station at Queensbury which had lines to Keighley, Bradford Exchange and Halifax. It was an unusual triangular layout, the only other two at the time it was open were Ambergate and Earlestown. There is a campaign to reopen Queensbury tunnel just past the station as a cycleway, if that fails it is due to be filled in. Ten people died during the tunnel construction. #queensburystation #queensburytunnel #greatnorthernrailway A post shared by John | Exploration and history (@merrytrek) on Nov 27, 2018 at 8:06am PST
