Unusual wall, Appleby-in-Westmorland

Odd wall incorporating lots old carved stone. There is an old church on the other side of the road (parts dating from 13th century and even older Saxon fragments) may stone was taken from there at some point in the past #wall #sandstone #recycle #carvedstone #stonewall #applebyinwestmorland #stmichaelsappleby #ivy
