Went looking for this Grade I listed 17th century building on the opposite side of Riddlesden to the National Trust's East Riddlesden Hall, this is the best view I could get of the private property but did spot this old gem. From my limited research it looks like a Rover P4 made from late 1940s to 1964 and has rear-hinged rear doors, now a rarity on new cars due to safety considerations and limited to some luxury models where they make it easier to enter and exit when being chauffeured. Apparently gangsters liked them as they made it easier to push victims out of moving cars... #westriddlesdenhall #riddlesden #keighley #eastriddlesdenhall #listedbuilding #seventeenthcentury #classiccar #classiccars #rover #roverp4 #suicidedoors #rearhingeddoors #coachdoors #carwreck #abandonedcar #historicbuildings A post shared by John | Exploration and history (@merrytrek) on Jul 17, 2019 at 3:51am PDT
